Focus:The Identity Trust is pleased to report that following our collaboration with researchers from the University of Ulster (who were undertaking research on behalf of OFMdFM into exclusion from sport in N.I.) the research team of Dr David Mitchell assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin at Belfast, Owen DW Hargie, University of Ulster UK and Ian JA Somerville, University of Leicester, UK. undertook further qualitative research with individual members of Focus: The identity Trust which resulted in a major research article in the International Review for the Sociology of sport.
Dr Mitchell and his team have indicated that they are anxious to collaborate further with Focus: The identity trust to take this research further.
