(June 2013)
Focus recently headed to Phoenix Park in Dublin, to meet with the Dublin support group. A picnic, followed by football, was the order of the day and as we feasted on an array of international cuisine, we swapped our experiences and stories like old friends. Under a blue sky, and beautiful warm sun, we contemplated our strategy for the big match. The teams were selected at random from all present. The whistle blew, the stage was set for what turned out to be the best fun we’d had in a very long time (without wearing makeup). The boys were amazing, the girls held their own. The man of the match, our Robbie, scored a well deserved equaliser, followed by a last minute winner by Sara (from the Dublin Group).
The teams reunited later that evening for a night on the town.
